The South Florida company expands with new Human Resources Manager position

Cruise Planners - American Express Travel, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the travel industry, is pleased to announce that Lisa Granata will be joining the team in a new role as Human Resources Manager.

lisa_GGranata will be managing human resource policies and programs to attract and retain the best employees at Cruise Planners’ Home Office, based in Coral Springs. Cruise Planners currently has 60 members of its Home Office team, and plans to hire more positions in the coming year.

In her new role, Granata will serve as a major transformational change leader at Cruise Planners focused on planning, development and implementation of business strategies and employee support. She will be leading the company’s human resource initiatives, including recruiting, employee relations, employee enrichment programs, personnel development, payroll processing and administration of health care and other employee benefit programs.

With almost 25 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, sales, marketing and management in a variety of industries, Granata is a welcome addition to the Cruise Planners team.

In her personal life, Granata enjoys zip lining vacations, volunteering, spending time with her husband, CPT Derek Granata, family, friends and her Siberian Huskies – Juna and Maia.

Granata earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Florida International University with an emphasis on Personnel Management. While attending FIU, she co-founded the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority on campus where her legacy continues to thrive.
