MS Nordnorge was refurbished in 2016 and now features a modern, Arctic-inspired interior. On board are three different restaurants, the Multe bakery and ice cream bar, a sauna and fitness room. Out on deck you can enjoy the view from one of our two Jacuzzis. We have a comfortable bar at the front of the ship where you can enjoy a nice traditional drink. The vessel also has a large compass area were you find the reception, a tour guide, conference room and shop.
MS Nordnorge has her own on-board Expedition Team? and serves as a university at sea. Interesting lectures inside as well as out on the sun deck of the ship make this an exciting and educational journey. Topics depend on the season and the waters we sail in. The Expedition Team will host a lecture programme and evening gatherings daily. Out on deck you may participate? in live points of interest to learn more about the nature, culture and other phenomena we encounter along the coast. The coastal town of Alesund is the commercial capital of the More og Romsdal district. But more important, it is noted for its characteristic Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) buildings, which some claim make Alesund one of the most beautiful towns in Norway. Today, narrow streets are crammed with buildings topped with turrets, spires and gables that bear decorations of dragonheads and curlicues. As one of the few remaining Art Nouveau towns in the world, in 1998 Alesund was awarded the coveted Houens National Memorial Prize for the preservation of its unique architecture.

Atlantic Sea Park - Located about two miles west of Ålesund, this unique Sea Park is built into a large stretch of coastal area with fishing stands, hiking trails, bathing sites and outstanding diving venues. It features large aquariums teeming with ocean life from up and down the Atlantic. Fish feeding is daily at 1:00 p.m.
Ålesund Museum - The exhibits at this museum concentrate on the history of sealing, fishing, shipping, the fire of 1904, the German occupation during World War II and the town's distinctive Jugendstil architecture.
Ålesund Church - The church was built in 1909 in Norman style. It boasts splendid frescoes and beautiful stained-glass windows. The gable windows behind the organ were an inauguration gift from the German Emperor Wilhelm II.
Municipal ParkLocally known as Byparken, it features a statue of Rollo, which was presented to the people of Ålesund from the city of Rouen in 1911. The park also has a monument dedicated to Kaiser Wilhelm II who made major contributions to the rebuilding of Ålesund after the Great Fire in 1904.
Trondheim exudes history from every pore of her stave churches and cobbled streets. Take in the splendid Nidaros Domen, built in 1066 over the grave of St. Olaf. Its the most magnificent cathedral in Scandinavia. The Royal Familys vacation palace is here too. Its the largest wooden building in Norway.

Stretching 120 metres (400 ft) into the sky, the Tyholt Tower was built by the Telecommunications Authority for modern radio and telecommunications. Bodo is a city and a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Salten region. Norwegian Aviation Museum and Salten Museum are located in Bodø. Salten Museum has four exhibitions: The Lofoten Fisheries, a Sami exhibit, a Viking treasure, and an exhibition about Bodø's history from 1816 to 2000.
The Bodo Cathedral was built in 1956, representing post-war architecture, whereas the Bodin Church just outside the city centre dates from the 13th century, representing a typical medieval stone church.
Norways northern-most settlement is the picturesque fishing village of Honningsvag. Cross the empty expanse of Arctic tundra to the North Cape. There you will stand atop a a 1,000-foot sheer granite cliff at the literal European end of the earth.
