Most churches have services in English, but none compare with the 1,000 strong Fijian service at Centenary Methodist Church on Stewart Street.

Suva has dozens of duty-free shops with cameras, stereos, and perfumes at attractive prices. Travel out of town and visit Orchid Island and the Colo-I-Suva forest park - both are resplendent with tropical flora and fauna.
Fiji was first settled about three and a half thousand years ago. The original inhabitants are now called "Lapita people" after a distinctive type of fine pottery they produced, remnants of which have been found in practically all the islands of the Pacific east of New Guinea, though not in eastern Polynesia. Linguistic evidence suggests that they came from northern or central Vanuatu, or possibly the eastern Solomons.
Inyeug (Mystery) Island is uninhabited, making it Vanuatu's most private island bungalow retreat. If you want to relax on white sand beaches surrounded by coral reefs then this is a good destination. Since nobody lives on Mystery Island, the bungalows are self catering and you need to bring at least some of your food and beverages with you. Local produce is available on the mainland and there are basic stores there too.

Oban is the principal settlement on Stewart Island/Rakiura, the southernmost inhabited island of the New Zealand archipelago. Oban is located on Halfmoon Bay (sometimes used as an alternative name for the town), on Paterson Inlet. It has aircraft connections with Invercargill and a ferry service to Bluff.
Created in 1952, Fiordland is the largest national park in New Zealand, and one of the largest in the world. Fiordland National Park is also the largest area of wilderness in New Zealand. This value was set aside as early as 1904, when the land that later became national park was set aside. Linguistic evidence suggests that they came from northern or central Vanuatu, or possibly the eastern Solomons.

Kaikoura is situated north-eastern coast of the South Island of New Zealand in the Marlborough region. It offers tourists the chance to watch sperm whales as they come in to the coast to feed in the deep waters off the continental shelf. One can swim with Dusky and Hector's dolphins (the latter the world's smallest), and fur seals. The town is also renowned for its crayfish (its name means "meal of crayfish" in Maori). 
In 1840, French settlers arrived at Akaroa, which had just been claimed under the Treaty of Waitangi by the English. To this day, Akaroa remains unique as the site of the only attempted settlement by the French in New Zealand. Many streets have French names, and there are descendants of the original French families still living in Akaroa.
