About The Cruise
Star Clipper and her sister, Star Flyer, are both stars of the sea; gliding through the water like graceful swans and sitting proudly atop the rolling waves.
Although both four-masted ships, as opposed to five, they are surprisingly taller than Royal Clipper and possess just as much style as their illustrious cousin. However, they are both just 360 feet long and each carries only 170 guests in pampered comfort.
Star Clipper is a true clipper ship, reflecting her proud heritage in every inch of the polished brass and gleaming brightwork that graces her decks and superstructure. Step aboard this striking vessel and you’ll be greeted by a new generation of sailing culture. Here, the grand traditions of the past, which characterise what sailing is all about, exist alongside the comforts and amenities found on the contemporary cruise liners of today.
Don’t let this tribute to sailing’s past fool you though as Star Clipper is a modern ship through and through. She welcomes luxury-loving passengers from all over the world who hold the legacy and customs of the grand era close to their hearts yet yearn for a new and exciting adventure.
Life aboard is blissfully relaxed, much like travelling on a private yacht. You’ll never feel restricted or disorientated on any of our ships as our staff work tirelessly to meet your needs and make you feel comfortable.
There are six categories of generous staterooms; giving you plenty of choice when deciding which one suits you best, whilst the expansive decks give the whole ship an uncluttered feel. In fact, you’ll find that, due to the small number of passengers on board and the spacious surroundings, both Star Clipper and Star Flyer offer more outdoor space per person than most conventional cruise ships.
The interior design of Star Clipper again harks back to nautical days gone by. Famous sailing ships are remembered in paintings that are hung on the walls, while teak and lustrous mahogany rails are richly reminiscent of Star Clippers’ proud maritime heritage.

About At Sea
Relax and enjoy your vacation onboard your ship. You can do as much or as little as you want.
Portobelo (formerly Puerto Bello, also Porto Belo) is a port town in Colon Province, Panama. Portobelo was founded in 1597. From the 16th to the 18th century it was an important silver-exporting port in New Granada on the Spanish Main and one of the ports on the route of the Spanish treasure fleets. Today, Portobelo is a sleepy town with a population of fewer than 5000. It has a deep natural harbor. In 1980 the fortification ruins, along with nearby Fort San Lorenzo, were declared a World Heritage Site.
Portobelo Attractions
Today, the town of Portobelo has a unique Afro-Caribbean-colonial flavor. It is located on the Caribbean coast of Panama with a total area of 86,000 acres; 20% of the area is designated as a marine park. A tropical rainforest meets the sea here with long, beautiful stretches of beach and incredible diving opportunities.
The islands offer the visitor a great diversity of attractions and natural environments, uncommon to other regions of our continent: luxurious rain forests with an abundance of fauna and flora, sunny islands, beaches that compete with the Caribbean best, coral reefs in crystal clear water, mangrove islets in a lake-like scenery, guaymi indian villages and a national marine park that protects examples of the ecosystems and natural resources coexisting within the Archipelago boundaries, as a tribute to our future generations.
Bocas Del Toro Attractions
Getting to the Zapatillas Keys can be a dicey proposition when a strong north wind is blowing, but if the weather is cooperating, these two islands are gems. Part of the Bastimientos Island National Marine Park, they have beautiful, white-sand beaches and clear, shallow, snorkel-perfect water. (If you want to escape the heat, the adjacent forest offers shade.) Just don't expect a crowd; the only residents are park rangers.
Located on Costa Rica's Caribbean shores, Puerto Limon is one of the nations largest cities. Columbus stumbled upon the city in 1502, during his final voyage of discovery. Spanish explorers who followed, mistakenly declared this land to be the "rich coast"; however, little gold was found. Today, the city's riches come in the form of bananas, shipped from Limon to destinations around the world.
Puerto Limon Attractions
Glide across the canopy of the rain forest in a tram at the Braulio Carrillo National Park. It's a beautiful way to see the fragile ecosystem of the rain forest up close.
Puerto Limon Activities
Head to the mountains on an off-road adventure in an all-terrain vehicle - TERRA-X6. Your adventure includes a visit to the small village of Bananito, an amazing drive through the forest, past cattle ranches and banana plantations and incredible ocean views.
Absorb the tranquility of the Tortuguero canals as you float dreamily up to the north of Limón. Take in the fragrance of white ginger blossoms, lavender water hyacinths and the ilan ilan flower.
San Andres is 700 km from the Colombian mainland, a miniature paradise with influences from England and Spain, pirates and corsairs, blended into a rich culture which moves to the beat of reggae. Perfect beaches, excellent water-sports, diving and ecotourism.
Your first glimpse of San Andres island is the sea of seven colors, home to many-hued fish and coral, working their magic on the visitor. After an afternoon on the beach or shopping duty-free, night falls and the air is alive with music and dancing.
San Andres Island Attractions
On the island's northern tip lies the main town and commercial center, known by the same name as the island. San Andres Town is surrounded by beaches, with small hotels lining the waterfront. Being a duty-free zone, the town often gets crowded with Colombian shoppers who come from the mainland looking for foreign-made goods at duty-free prices. To reach the town from the tender landing requires an approximate 20-minute taxi ride. However, it is not uncommon for drivers to choose the longer way around the island for a higher fare. From the downtown waterfront, boats offer trips to Johnny Cay, a tiny island just a stone's throw across from town and known for its powdery white sand beach and rustic, laid-back atmosphere.
San Andres Island Activities
Under a blue sky that blends in with the sea of seven colors, San Andres mixes relaxation with any number of activities to let you experience the intensity of the lifestyle of the islanders:
Island tour on a motorbike or golf-cart.
Night-life in the bar, partying on the beach
Sun and sand.
Good-food tour.
Diving and snorkeling in La Piscinita, West View and El Cove.
Launch trip to the Aquarium, Haynes Cay and then Johnny Cay.
Shopping in the duty-free area to the north.
Bird-watching and ecotourism.
Water sports: windsurf, kite-surfing, jet skiing.
Montego Bay is the capital of St. James Parish and the second largest city in Jamaica by area and the fourth by population (after Kingston, Spanish Town and Portmore). It is a tourist destination with hotels ,restaurants, toursist attaractions, duty free shopping, a cruise line terminal and several beaches. The city is backed by picturesque low mountains.
The coastland near Montego Bay is occupied by numerous tourist resorts, most newly built, some occupying the grounds of old sugar cane plantations with some of the original buildings and mill-works still standing. The most famous of these are the White Witch's Rose Hall and Tryall, both of which now feature world-class golf courses.
Montego Bay Attractions
Jamaica has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And Rose Hall Beach Club is a perfect example. White sand and crystal-clear water make this secluded private beach well worth its $8 admission fee. You'll find beach bars and restaurants, an open-air dance area, showers, restrooms, volleyball courts and a full watersports program.
Montego Bay Activities
Explore the island's beaches by swimming, sunning, snorkeling, diving, partying and horseback-riding, then relax with a local favorite, Red Stripe beer.
Stroll down bustling Gloucester Avenue with great shopping and restaurants.
