Zakinthos, also called Zante, is one of the largest Ionian Islands located off the Western coast of Greece. Adventures

Have a swim at the wide sandy beaches in the company of sea turtles, go snorkelling or scuba diving between rocks and in underwater caves. Take a sailboat out or go surfing. Make a trekking-tour in the mountain-areas.

Shopping

The Central Shopping Mile is the Alexander Roma Street in Zakynthos Town. You'll find shops with the well-known proprietary articles (leather goods are cheaper than in other European countries). Jewelery also is available at interesting prices. But especially the existence of the old, traditional stores, e.g., barber shops, tailors, etc. will make your shopping tour a varied experience. These shops are located also in the surrounding areas of the Alexander Roma Street.
