There is an exceptional trail system including the Bay to Bay Trail connecting the towns of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Not to mention the endless stretches of back roads that meander lazily around coves and inlets, nooks and crannies. The Ovens Natural Park so unique. Every year, thousands of park visitors hike the spectacular trails along the cliffs to view the famous sea caves, or "Ovens" for which the park was named. Our diverse coastline and island studded bays have made the South Shore of Nova Scotia a haunt for Sea Kayakers. Guided kayak tours and rentals are available from local businesses.
